About Covenant Academy
A Christian School in Pinellas County…
Welcome! We’re so glad you’re interested in learning more about Covenant Academy. We are a classically inspired, private Christian school located in Pinellas County. Covenant Academy is a certified University-Model® school (UMSI) accredited with Cognia. We offer students in Kindergarten through 10th grade a college-preparatory education on a college-like schedule. Covenant Academy offers a three day hybrid program on campus Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with parent instruction at home Tuesday and Thursday, guided by the classroom teacher. In addition, Covenant Academy offers a five day option, blending the best of private Christian education and parental involvement.
Attending a University-Model® school affords students and families a number of advantages. Many of our families describe this model as striking the “perfect balance.” Our students thrive with engaging classroom learning, dedicated Christian teachers and meaningful connections with peers on campus. In addition, students are afforded more time with parents who are uniquely qualified to teach their children. Having this time gives opportunity to build deeper relationships within the family.
This partnership between parent and teacher is the key to student success in the UMS model. Covenant Academy was established by the efforts of educators and parents who share a passion for Christ-centered learning and parent involvement. The Lord paved the way for Covenant Academy to be officially incorporated in the spring of 2015 and opened in August of that year.
We are privileged to play an integral role in coming alongside our families to help our students grow and excel not only academically but also more importantly in their character and discipleship. Read our parent reviews.
